Responsibilities
- Build, publish, and maintain interactive Power BI reports, scorecards, and dashboards.
- Design and optimize semantic data models, data flows, and relational schemas using Power Query and DAX.
- Write Python scripts for data cleaning, preprocessing, API integrations, and task automation.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract and transform data from relational databases and cloud data warehouses.
- Partner with cross-functional business teams to gather requirements and translate operational needs into KPIs.
- Troubleshoot data refresh issues and optimize slow-loading DAX measures.
- Ensure data accuracy and security compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related quantitative field and 8 plus years of relevant experience or a master's degree and 6 six plus years.
- Three (3) plus years of hands-on experience developing Power BI dashboards, data models, and report publishing.
- Two (2) plus years of experience using Python for data analysis, automation, and scripting (libraries like pandas, numpy, or requests).
- Strong proficiency in writing SQL queries and working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Snowflake).
- Deep understanding of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) and data transformation workflows.
- Ability to distill large volumes of raw data into clear, actionable business insights.
