Polaris is looking for a Senior Business Analyst with expertise in D365 Finance and Operations, specializing in Supply Chain Management, Inventory, and Fulfillment. This remote role involves analyzing requirements, designing solutions, and leading UAT for complex production issues within the International Order to Cash Product Team.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the domain SME for Inventory, Fulfillment, Warehouse Operations, Logistics, ATP/ETA, Intercompany Supply Chain, Goods in Transit, and 3PL processes.
- Design D365 functional solutions and configuration approaches.
- Analyze and improve order-to-fulfillment processes.
- Own functional analysis for 3PL and EDI flows.
- Assess cross-functional impacts across Sales, Accounts Receivable, product master data, Finance, integrations, portals, and external systems.
- Lead functional validation and UAT for enhancements, defects, D365 upgrades, integrations, and country-specific changes.
- Act as the senior functional escalation point for complex SCM and fulfillment incidents.
- Lead functional root-cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Review proposed solutions and FDDs from related domains.
- Maintain current-state and future-state process flows, business rules, and design decisions.
- Preserve institutional knowledge and support documentation.
- Partner with global business teams and product stakeholders to prioritize improvements and simplify processes.
Requirements
- 10+ years of Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 Finance & Operations experience, including senior business analysis or functional consulting responsibilities.
- Deep functional expertise in Inventory Management, warehouse and fulfillment operations, intercompany supply, ATP/order promising, reservations, transfers, and logistics.
- Hands-on experience creating FDDs, process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional test scenarios.
- Experience with 3PL and EDI-enabled warehouse processes.
- Experience leading UAT, upgrade validation, and complex functional production investigations in a multi-country D365 environment.
- Ability to evaluate business, configuration, master-data, integration, customization, and standard-product impacts.
- Strong stakeholder facilitation, analytical, documentation, and business communication skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced Warehouse Management, Goods in Transit, voyage/container, VIN or serial-controlled inventory experience.
- Knowledge of EDI 832, 940, 944, 945, and 204 transactions and third-party warehouse integrations.
- Experience with product substitution, bundles/kits, inventory allocation, landed-cost or international distribution processes.
- Experience documenting current-state processes and supporting ERP modernization or migration readiness.
