Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for Digital Mission Engineering tools (STK, ODTK, TETK) in areas like astrodynamics, RF, optical systems, and mission analysis.
- Reproduce customer issues, identify root causes, and deliver solutions using engineering knowledge and software expertise.
- Write and test code in Python, MATLAB, C++, or Java to automate workflows, integrate tools, or validate results.
- Document defects, verify fixes, and submit product improvement requests.
- Deliver webinars, product demonstrations, and technical training sessions.
- Participate in field testing of new software releases.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to translate customer needs into product direction.
Requirements
- BS in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 2+ years of professional experience in an engineering software environment, or MS with 0+ years.
- Hands-on experience writing code in Python, MATLAB, C++, or Java.
- Demonstrated use of Ansys software or comparable commercial CAE, CAD, EDA, or PLM tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Organizational skills and time management.
Desired Qualifications
- Coursework or work experience in astrodynamics, orbit determination, trajectory optimization, or attitude determination and control systems.
- Background in RF engineering, optical engineering, model-based systems engineering, or related domains.
- Prior experience with STK, ODTK, or other Digital Mission Engineering tools.
