Segment Buyer responsible for Divisional Segment Purchasing of Fabric and Coatings, supporting multiple Product Lines. Requires a Bachelor's degree with strong understanding of raw materials like Propellants, and experience in purchasing, negotiation, and vendor relationship management. Responsibilities

  • Support Multiple Product Line Teams
  • Support specific Standard Components; Raw Materials for Product Lines
  • Strong understanding of raw materials: Propellants is required
  • Meet stated KPIs for MPV, Supplier Consolidation, NCM, WCC, etc…
  • Develop best in class suppliers (Cost, Quality, Delivery)
  • Responsible for negotiations, cost modeling, LTA, Resourcing, & other
  • Evaluate vendor quotes, services, and savings to determine most desirable suppliers
  • Manage all aspects of vendor relationship management and lifecycle
  • Support divisional workshops & Zero-Defect Strategy with Supplier Quality
  • Gain exposure to complex tasks within the job function as it relates specifically to Raw Materials purchasing, new technology and manufacturing methods

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required
  • Advanced English skills
  • Previous Experience in Purchasing, Standard Components, Raw Material Trends, Engineering, Quality, Negotiation, Resins
  • Organization, Negotiation and Communication skills
