Responsibilities

  • Actively approach customers needing assistance, identify needs, and advise on solutions.
  • Keep assigned areas clean, tidy, priced, and fully stocked according to IKEA standards.
  • Convey passion for IKEA products, learn features/benefits, and share knowledge with customers.
  • Build furniture for various merchandising needs (In Shape As New, new products, remodels).
  • Prepare, produce, and maintain IKEA Food menu items following safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Receive inbound goods and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Flow product to final selling locations.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide customers with a simple and efficient Full Serve Hand Out experience.
  • Offer a smooth returns and exchange experience for customers.

Requirements

  • Full time, seasonal employment for 90-180 days.
  • Ability to work 34-40 hours per week.
  • Hourly pay range: $18.50 - $26.14 based on experience.
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug test may be required.

  • Experience in sales or customer-facing roles is beneficial.

  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as building furniture and stocking shelves.
