The SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting Lead Consultant will lead Application Management Services (AMS) for SAP Finance R2R processes globally. This role involves managing incidents, service requests, problem management, and driving process optimization and automation within the SAP S/4HANA landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end SAP S/4HANA financial accounting projects from requirements gathering to deployment.
  • Configure and customize SAP S/4HANA financial accounting modules to meet client's specific business needs.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior consultants and functional teams in implementing financial accounting solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization within the SAP S/4HANA system.
  • Conduct training sessions and create documentation for end-users on financial processes and system functionalities.
  • Stay updated on the latest SAP S/4HANA financial accounting technologies and trends to provide innovative solutions to clients.
  • Lead AMS R2R support operations in a global AMS environment.
  • Manage Incident, Service Request, Problem, and Change Management activities.
  • Ensure compliance with SLAs, KPIs, and governance requirements.
  • Drive ticket backlog reduction and aging management.
  • Lead severity incident resolution and support business-critical issues.
  • Provide expertise across GL, AP Integration, AR Integration, AA, Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, CO-PA, Parallel Ledger Accounting, Intercompany Accounting, Period-End Closing, Year-End Closing, Financial Reporting, Group Reporting, and Consolidation.
  • Serve as primary Functional Lead for business finance stakeholders.
  • Conduct governance meetings, service reviews, and status reporting.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvement and stabilization.
  • Support audits and compliance requirements.
  • Identify automation opportunities to reduce recurring incidents.
  • Drive root cause analysis and permanent fixes.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA financial accounting modules such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, and financial closing.
  • Proven experience in implementing SAP S/4HANA financial accounting solutions in a corporate environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within the SAP system.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively to meet project deadlines.
  • SAP Certified Application Associate SAP S/4HANA for Financial Accounting Associates (SAP S/4HANA 2020)

Desired Qualifications

  • Certification in SAP S/4HANA financial accounting is highly preferred.
