In short

This role is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies for the underground equipment product line in China. The ideal candidate will have extensive leadership experience and a proven track record of driving profitable business growth, managing sales teams, and ensuring financial discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategy to achieve short and long-term sales goals in P.R.China for underground equipment.
  • Ensure attainment of assigned geography’s budgeted sales value, volume, and/or profitability.
  • Meet established sales goals and ensure they are effectively cascaded to the sales team.
  • Liaise with sales area management and product division to set forecasts, budgets, and targets.
  • Manage first-line sales managers/engineers' performance and results.
  • Managerial responsibility for multiple teams/departments across locations.
  • Ensure strong financial discipline, balancing sales results and managing administrative and sales expenses.

Requirements

  • 12-15 years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in leading a function.
  • A track record of driving profitable business growth is a key requirement.
  • University Degree, preferably in Mining or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Work location is Shanghai/Beijing.
  • English proficiency equivalent to C1 (by EF).

  • Leads through subordinate managers of managers; executes functional business plans and contributes to the development of functional strategy.

  • Negotiates and influences the opinions of others within the business unit and in external organizations; exercises sensitivity to the audience.
