In short

As a Safety & Security Co-worker in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, you will promote risk management and ensure compliance with Ingka Rules and local legislation to create a safe environment. You will support co-workers, develop a risk-aware culture, and ensure reporting of relevant figures for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Promote risk Management in the unit, informing and sharing expertise, in order to develop risk-aware decision taking in relation to unit goals and unit business plan.
Support co-workers, by providing expertise in acting in accordance with Ingka Rules and Local (country and regional) legislation to secure a safe environment for customers and co-workers.
Promote and ensure completion of trainings needed and facilitate for co-workers to meet IKEAs/ Ingka's risk appetite.
Support Risk & Compliance culture by developing leadership and conscious approach in identifying, as well as implementing systems to detect, analyse and reduce business loss, financial impact, prevent incidents and accidents.
Ensure the reporting of relevant figures for e.g. co-workers, customer and visitors incidents to establish progress and areas for improvement.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of related experience

The role is officially referred to as Unit Business Risk & Compliance Co-worker.
