The RME Engineer is responsible for overseeing all facility and administrative activities, including daily, weekly, and monthly technical checks, corrective maintenance, and vendor coordination. This role involves maintaining and troubleshooting conveyor, electrical, and mechanical systems, as well as managing soft services and providing daily reports.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly technical checks according to the PPM schedule.
- Attend TT calls for corrective maintenance, service, and repair works.
- Coordinate with vendors for systems under warranty or AMC.
- Monitor energy consumption and manage DG maintenance.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot conveyor systems, electrical and mechanical systems.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot power distribution systems, branch circuits, lighting systems, transformers, and wiring.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, and control components.
- Support production in a safe and customer-focused manner.
- Perform minor refurbishment and upgrade works for building finishes, fixtures, fittings, and equipment.
- Conduct regular checks of fire alarm systems and fire extinguishers.
- Maintain, oil, and grease carts, trolleys, pumps, and rolling shutters.
- Attend to regular electrical works and issue hot work permits.
- Perform minor civil and plumbing corrective maintenance.
- Provide daily reports on TT closures, open cases, and RCA.
- Update tools inventory and maintain the PPM schedule.
- Manage soft services activities such as pest control, housekeeping, and waste disposal.
- Handle agency staff and oversee overall shift operations.
Requirements
- Experience in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics and Communication/Instrumentation and Controls.
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years of conveyors/automation/control systems maintenance experience.
