Qualcomm India Private Limited seeks a Senior Lead Engineer for RISC-V Infra System IP DV in Bangalore. This role involves IP/Sub-System design verification, test plan development, and debug, requiring expertise in UVM, System Verilog, and various bus protocols. Experience with ARM/RISC-V architectures and scripting languages is desirable.

Responsibilities

3 to 15 years of experience in IP/Sub System design verification.
Develop test plan and test cases to cover design feature set.
Follow up with stakeholders on code coverage and functional coverage closure.
Work closely with System Architects, Design, and emulation teams on failure debugs.
Debug regression signatures and identify bug fixes.
Proficiency in Gen AI skills and scripting languages (Python or Perl) for Automation initiatives is desirable.

Requirements

Expertise on UVM, System Verilog DV test bench and other associated collaterals (Checkers, Trackers, Scoreboards, Assertion, Functional Coverage).
Understanding of bus protocols like CHI/AHB/AXI/ACE/ACE-Lite and Interconnect concepts.
Knowledgeable on ARM / RISCV system architecture, Memory Management, Virtual Memory concepts, Core sight architecture, power management fundamentals.
Understanding of multi-core ARMv8/v9 CPU architecture, coherency protocols and virtualization.
Communication and collaboration skills to work with a large world-wide design organization.

Desired Qualifications

Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Electronics & Communication / Micro Electronics.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
Post-Silicon bring-up and HW-SW debug experience would be a plus.
