IKEA is seeking a full-time Retail Warehouse Associate in Merriam, Kansas. This role involves fulfilling customer orders, managing inventory, and replenishing stock. Prior warehouse experience and forklift certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the fulfillment of customer orders in different sales channels in the retail store.
  • Ensure efficiently executed product availability and replenishment process.
  • Receive inbound goods and ensure inventory accuracy at point of receiving.
  • Move product to final selling location (in storage or on the floor).
  • Perform sales space replenishment with flexibility and according to visual merchandising guidance.
  • Pick and prepare customer orders within the agreed timeframe.
  • Handle goods (unloading, transporting, replenishing, stocking in, stocking out, picking, loading).
  • Operate scanner equipment and inventory management tools including IT systems.
  • Certify all powered mobile equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in high volume warehouse or receiving/replenishment.
  • Ability to lift, push/pull, slide/transfer, and carry occasionally (up to 50lbs).
  • Must be able to work nights & weekends.
  • Willingness to complete a background check and drug test.

Desired Qualifications

  • Certification in at least one power mobile equipment (forklift, electric pallet jack, etc.) preferred.
