IKEA is seeking a Part-Time Retail Warehouse Associate in Houston, TX to contribute to customer order fulfillment. Responsibilities include receiving goods, moving products, sales space replenishment, picking orders, and operating scanner equipment. This role requires a focus on efficiency and customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the fulfillment of customer orders in different sales channels.
  • Receive inbound goods and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Move product to final selling location (in storage or on the floor).
  • Perform sales space replenishment according to visual merchandising guidance.
  • Pick and prepare customer orders within the agreed timeframe.
  • Handle goods including unloading, transporting, replenishing, stocking, picking, and loading.
  • Operate scanner equipment and inventory management tools.
  • Certify all powered mobile equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in high volume warehouse or receiving/replenishment.
  • Ability to perform lifting, pushing/pulling, sliding/transferring, and carrying up to 50lbs.
  • Must be able to work nights & weekends.
  • Successful candidate may be required to complete a background check and a drug test.

Desired Qualifications

  • Certification in at least one power mobile equipment (forklift, electric pallet jack, etc.) preferred.
