IKEA is seeking a part-time Retail Warehouse Associate in Merriam, Kansas, to contribute to order fulfillment and inventory management. This role involves receiving goods, moving products, replenishing sales floors, and picking customer orders using scanner equipment and powered mobile equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to fulfilling customer orders across different sales channels.
  • Ensure efficient product availability and replenishment.
  • Receive inbound goods and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Move product to final selling locations or storage.
  • Perform sales space replenishment according to visual merchandising.
  • Pick and prepare customer orders within the agreed timeframe.
  • Handle goods including unloading, transporting, stocking, picking, and loading.
  • Operate scanner equipment and inventory management tools.
  • Certify powered mobile equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in high volume warehouse or receiving/replenishment.
  • Ability to lift, push/pull, slide/transfer, and carry occasionally (up to 50lbs).
  • Must be able to work nights & weekends.
  • Successful completion of background check and drug test may be required.

Desired Qualifications

  • Certification in at least one power mobile equipment (forklift, electric pallet jack, etc.) preferred.
