Responsibilities
- Actively approach customers requiring additional help, identify their needs and advise them on the best solutions for their homes.
- Keep area of responsibility clean, tidy, priced and fully stocked, ensuring IKEA basic merchandising standards are in place.
- Convey passion about IKEA products and actively learn about their features and benefits, sharing this knowledge with customers.
- Build furniture as needed for In Shape As New, introduction of new products, commercial calendar implementation and remodels.
- Prepare, produce, and maintain IKEA Food menu items; serve all IKEA Food menu items; follow procedures and guidelines for safe food handling, cleanliness and sanitation, and workplace safety.
- Receive inbound goods and ensure inventory accuracy at the point of receiving.
- Flow product to final selling location.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide customers with a simple and efficient Full Serve Hand Out experience.
- Provide the customer with a simple and smooth returns and exchange experience.
Requirements
- Must be able to work 34-40 hours per week.
- Must be eligible for benefits.
- Successful candidate may be required to complete a background check and a drug test as a condition of employment.

- Previous experience in customer service or sales is beneficial.
- Ability to learn about product features and benefits.
