Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance on layout, color, style, and accessories for residential and business customers using interior design knowledge.
  • Sell specialized home furnishing solutions such as kitchens, baths, and storage systems.
  • Create customer relationships to identify needs and provide support.
  • Apply measurement techniques and planning/design/construction understanding for order accuracy.
  • Drive repeat store visitation by ensuring a customer-centric sales team and positive branding experience.
  • Oversee day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing duties when assigned.
  • Ensure a safe and secure work environment, managing escalated customer issues, injuries, and emergency protocols.
  • Partner with Safety & Security to ensure adherence to policies regarding inventory, safety, cash handling, and internal controls.
  • Ensure implementation of working routines and competence development related to the role.
  • Perform goods flow and customer handout operations efficiently using systems and tools for smooth processes and data accuracy.

Requirements

  • Previous retail selling experience.
  • Experience in a consultative sales environment.
  • Experience leading change initiatives and building new programs in a retail space environment.
  • Basic measurement techniques and understanding of planning, design, and construction.
  • Ability to work nights & weekends.
  • Must be able to work min. 20 hrs/wk for medical/Rx plans.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in designing kitchen and bath preferred.
