Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of a remote sales team, ensuring outstanding customer experiences and achieving sales targets.
  • Coach and develop co-workers through performance conversations, feedback, and development planning.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and implement action plans.
  • Drive a customer-first sales culture focused on understanding needs and providing solutions.
  • Support promotional campaigns and commercial initiatives to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify customer trends and improve the customer journey.
  • Ensure team maintains strong product knowledge and promotes IKEA's range, services, and solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience leading high-performing sales, contact centre, customer service sales, or retail teams.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales and commercial targets.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and coach teams to deliver strong sales results and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse performance data and identify opportunities.
  • Experience managing KPIs including sales conversion, productivity, and customer experience metrics.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions.
  • Experience working with customer engagement platforms and sales performance reporting tools.
