Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of the release and program lifecycle, managing scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
  • Develop and execute strategic forecasts and plans, setting clear milestones.
  • Provide leadership to multi-functional teams, aligning stakeholders and influencing without direct authority.
  • Partner with product management and engineering teams to ensure solutions address customer needs.
  • Proactively identify, assess, prioritize, and mitigate program risks.
  • Ensure releases and programs meet high standards of quality, productivity, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Communicate clear, actionable updates to stakeholders on release/program progress, risks, and resolutions.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate, environmental, legislative, safety, and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Lead post release/program evaluations to identify success and areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in computer engineering or any other engineering field.
  • 10-12 years of project management experience in embedded product development.
  • Project management experience in embedded product development is a must.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan/manage budget, resources, work activities, and risks/mitigations for New Product Development (NPD) projects.
  • Experience working on teams that use Agile development methods.

Desired Qualifications

  • PMP certified professional and Scrum Master certification would be an added advantage.
  • Working experience in leading complex product development programs in a global setup.
  • Hands-on experience in Electronics Hardware/Embedded Software development would be useful.
  • Organizational, problem solving and interpersonal skills with cross cultural adaptation.
  • Demonstrated time management and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with senior leadership with confidence and clarity.
