Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the release and program lifecycle, managing scope, schedule, cost, and quality from product definition to release.
- Develop and execute strategic forecasts and plans, setting clear milestones.
- Provide leadership to multi-functional teams, aligning stakeholders and influencing without direct authority.
- Partner with product management and engineering teams to ensure solutions address customer needs.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate program risks.
- Ensure every release and program meets high standards of quality, productivity, efficiency, and reliability.
- Communicate clear, actionable updates on release/program progress, risks, and resolutions to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with corporate, environmental, legislative, safety, and cybersecurity requirements.
- Lead post release/program evaluations to identify success and areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in computer engineering or any other engineering field.
- 10-12 years of project management experience in embedded product development.
- Demonstrated ability to plan/manage budget, resources, work activities, and risks/mitigations for New Product Development (NPD) projects.
- Experience working on teams that use Agile development methods.
- Organizational, problem solving, and interpersonal skills with cross-cultural adaptation.
- Demonstrated time management and multi-tasking abilities.
Desired Qualifications
- PMP certified professional and Scrum Master certification are added advantages.
- Working experience in leading complex product development programs in a global setup.
- Hands-on experience in Electronics Hardware/Embedded Software development would be useful.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with senior leadership with confidence and clarity.
