Responsibilities
- Monitor and improve compliance with policies for spend and supplier base.
- Standardize policies and processes, drive synergy and optimization projects within China & Taiwan.
- Establish efficient communication with stakeholders through a regional council.
- Work closely with key business stakeholders to understand and challenge requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with business stakeholders to deliver savings and service improvements.
- Develop, validate, implement, and drive sustainable category and sub-category strategies aligned with business requirements and global strategies.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities for process efficiency through digitalization or adjustments to global best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of procurement experience, preferably in a regional role.
- At least 3 years in a strategic role or experience in developing category strategies within 10 years of experience.
- Knowledge of cost analysis and supply market intelligence.
- Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels, internally and with suppliers.
- Track record of improving supply chains, supplier relationships, and performance.
- Understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
- Full fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Ability to interact with stakeholders and leadership.
- Self-motivated with minimal guidance required from management.
- Willingness to travel as required by business conditions and strategies.
