They are seeking a Radio System Engineer to design and document radio product requirements, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities

  • Participate in and lead radio system design work.
  • Turn high-level market and product needs into concrete requirements for next-generation radio products.
  • Define and document product/spec requirements.
  • Drive continuous product and process improvements.
  • Troubleshoot and provide customer support.
  • Coordinate with Product Management, program teams, and other design sites.

Requirements

  • Background in wireless communications, radio systems, firmware, hardware, software, or systems engineering.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Computer Science, or related field (BSc/MSc or equivalent).
  • Willingness to learn, collaborate, and contribute to team and product success.
  • Radio systems knowledge: LTE/5G NR, OFDM, MIMO, beamforming.
  • Radio Requirement allocation between different parts of the radio.
  • Functional Systemization for HW and SW parts.
  • RF/hardware design and measurement, antenna systems, lab instrumentation.
  • Embedded/firmware development (C/C++), Linux, BSPs.
  • Signal processing and algorithm development (MATLAB, Python).
  • Network protocols, system integration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with product release, lifecycle management and working with carriers.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Able to work in English.

  • Study leaders for new radio products.
  • Japanese language skills are a welcome advantage.
