Responsibilities

  • Complete a designated internship project designed to apply skills and provide value-added impact.
  • Partner with an assigned mentor for feedback and direction.
  • Learn about and assist in the implementation of Quality Management System principles and processes.
  • Support process development by integrating quality policy into procedures and continual process improvement.
  • Monitor the assembly cycle and perform tests/inspections to identify non-conformances.
  • Monitor and analyze risk, assisting with mitigation plans and root cause analysis.
  • Learn about and participate in internal audits for process maturity and compliance.
  • Collaborate with Quality team members to learn quality principles and systems.
  • Champion Saab Company values.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Engineering, Quality, Business Management, or similar field.
  • Completed Freshman year in academic curriculum as of hire date (fall 2026).
  • Coursework or previous experience with Quality Systems, testing, and inspection methodologies.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
  • Excellent communication and team-building experience.
  • Ability to be self-driven and deliver high-quality work.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, Permanent Resident, or protected individual.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Quality Systems, testing and inspection methodologies is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and team building experience.
  • Self-driven with the ability to deliver high quality work.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
