Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain Saab Danmark's Quality Management System (QMS) according to ISO 9001 and AS9100.
- Lead internal and external quality audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Establish and monitor quality KPIs, analyzing data to identify trends and root causes of non-conformities.
- Oversee non-conformance, corrective action, and preventive action (CAPA) processes.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, supply chain, and project management teams to integrate quality throughout the product lifecycle.
- Develop and deliver quality training programs.
- Manage and mentor a team of quality professionals.
- Act as the primary contact for quality-related matters with customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
- Participate in management reviews and report on QMS performance.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in quality management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Ideally a Master’s degree.
- 8–10 years of experience in quality management.
- 3–5 years in a leadership role.
- Deep expertise from complex, regulated environments (defense, aerospace, high-tech manufacturing).
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100, including hands-on implementation and continuous improvement.
- Professional certifications such as CQM/OE or Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
- Analytically strong and methodical, using data to guide decisions and solve problems.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to influence, collaborate, and build trust.
- Proven track record of developing, implementing, and optimizing quality management systems.
- Practical experience applying risk management principles.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance by the Danish Defence Intelligence Service.
- Minimum residency within NATO/EU for the last 7 years.
