We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer I for Relay TAQ to provide coding and testing expertise, ensuring software quality and customer satisfaction. The role involves creating test strategies, driving initiatives, and working closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.

Responsibilities

Provide coding and testing expertise.
Create test strategies and drive initiatives.
Work closely with product and engineering teams.
Understand feature and product interactions within complex designs and code.
Work with software development engineers to ensure design soundness and testability.
Determine the best testing and automation approaches.
Contribute to automation frameworks and automate test cases at API and UI levels using Java.
Drive the software development process toward quality-centric methodologies.
Create test automation solutions, discover limitations and compatibilities, select new concepts, and develop routines and utilities.
Generate metrics to improve development practices.
Review and critique technical requirements, design specifications, and implementations.
Instill best practices for test suite automation, frameworks, and documentation.
Participate in the full development life cycle, including test plan execution and software quality needs.
Write and execute test plans, design and develop test tools, automate, debug, and report bugs.
Own the delivery of entire software development test suites and frameworks.
Collaborate with technical leaders to develop the best approach for testing functionality at scale.
Understand component interactions in distributed systems.
Create and execute appropriate test strategies and processes aligned with business objectives and project timelines.

Requirements

2+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
Experience in automation testing
Experience in manual testing
Experience in UI and API automation testing (Selenium/SOAPUI)

Desired Qualifications

Experience in API & Mobile testing
Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control
