We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer for Project Tez at Amazon in India. You will develop test strategies, plans, and automated test cases for a new e-commerce experience, troubleshoot products, and track bugs to resolution. This role is ideal for someone passionate about building innovative products in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Develop test strategies, test plans, and automated test cases
Build test infrastructure/environment to support manual and automation test execution
Create, execute, and maintain test plans and automation involving one or more product components and/or features
Create and maintain automation scripts, and execute automated test cases
Debug/Troubleshoot test failures/automation failures and isolate bugs
Perform initial defect triage and root cause analysis, and escalate roadblocks/risks
Improve test mechanisms and best practices

Requirements

4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
Experience in manual testing
Experience in automation testing
Experience scripting or coding
Experience developing high quality test plans, test designs, test strategies, and test execution

Desired Qualifications

Experience with Android, iOS or other mobile application development or testing
Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium
