Zycus is looking out for Quality Assurance Manager, a Seasoned Technologist, with a Technical Experience of about 6-10 years, and a hands-on experience in Software Product Development environment with E2E ownership abilities.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• As a part of the Quality Team, Senior Quality Assurance Manager will focus on creating, mentoring and developing teams to focus on high quality release deliverables with industry-standard practices/processes.
• The Manager will guide the teams on functional/non-functional testing, automated tests (Selenium) , maintaining and executing the automated tests using Junit/in-house Test Automation Framework.
• Candidate will focus on Shift-Left possibilities and will have strong bias towards providing relevant quality gates to reduce cost of quality, while maintaining a constant eye on deliverable throughput.
• The candidate will be expected to excel in an Agile environment, where monthly releases need to be delivered with high quality.
• The candidate should be able to understand end customer usage and tailor test suites, so as so maximize testing, what the customer uses.
• The candidate will also be responsible, in hiring and building high performance teams. The candidate will be responsible for building an institutional knowledge base of functional and process knowledge, within the organization. S/he will also be responsible for inducting, coaching, mentoring and supporting your staff in both technical and other issues.

Job Requirement

Skills & Experience Required:

• At least 6-10 years of experience in leading and managing quality engineering teams
• Hands on experience in manual and automated testing, debugging and trouble shooting of enterprise class applications
• Strong follow-through and initiative to stay with issues until they are resolved, along with discipline and tenacity to help teams meet deadlines/deliverables with high quality
• Experienced with collaboration, conflict resolution, problem solving skills
• Experience with tools such as Team City/Jenkins, SVN/source control, Junit/test framework
• Ability to work in a fast paced, test-driven, collaborative and agile environment
• Creative and effective in oral and written communication, ability to communicate with all stakeholders in distributed teams
• Bachelors degree in Engineering with focus on certifications in quality and test automation
