Alstom is seeking a Project Quality and Safety Coordinator in Montreal to support the Rolling Stock Project Quality & Safety Manager. Responsibilities
- Support the Rolling Stock Project Quality & Safety Manager in daily quality and safety tasks.
- Coordinate and track non-conformities (NCRs), warranty claims, and corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with customer representatives, maintenance, operations, and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
- Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
- Support technical reviews for trains in revenue service.
- Contribute to quality and safety reporting, project documentation, and management reviews.
- Assist in identifying risks and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Ensure follow-up of warranty deliverables and customer commitments.
Requirements
- Diploma, degree, or technical certification in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Quality, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
- Good spoken French and English and ability to work effectively in a bilingual environment.
- Experience within the railway or rolling stock industry.
- Proven experience supporting trains in revenue service (maintenance, warranty, modifications, or fleet support).
- Technical background in mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, rolling stock, or related disciplines.
- Experience with non-conformities, corrective actions, root cause analysis, or warranty management.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently and as a support partner.
- Previous exposure to quality management and safety processes.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of a language other than French is an asset.
