Responsibilities
- Partner with cross-functional engineering, product, and business teams to define project scope, requirements, and success criteria.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Track project execution against plan, proactively identify risks and issues, and drive mitigation, escalation, and resolution.
- Communicate project status, milestones, and key risks to internal stakeholders and senior leadership with clarity and transparency.
- Represent R&D in customer engagements, ensuring alignment on commitments, execution plans, and delivery expectations.
- Evaluate and manage change requests and technical issues reported by customers, coordinating timely and effective responses.
- Manage product updates triggered by silicon process updates, design updates, and customer feedback.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, and IP Program Management teams during pre-sales and post-sales activities.
- Ensure adherence to quality management system processes and drive continuous improvement in project execution.
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative, accountable, and innovative working environment.
Requirements
- A degree in Engineering, Applied Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of experience in customer-facing project or program management roles within an engineering environment.
- Strong ability to manage customer expectations and communicate complex technical topics clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project preferred) and issue-tracking systems such as Jira.
- Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments.
- Familiarity with the development process for Mixed-Signal IP, SoC, or ASIC development programs.
- Understanding of quality management system (QMS) processes and procedures.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
