Responsibilities
- Actively participate in electromagnetic design, testing, and field follow-up of high-speed direct-drive motors.
- Oversee the entire development lifecycle from prototyping to serial production.
- Organize lab test setups, plan tests, and document validations.
- Support magnetic design activities and validate prototype parts.
- Assess suppliers alongside Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) teams.
- Participate in thermal or material compatibility analyses.
- Serve as a technical consultant for other internal teams and divisions on drivetrain-related challenges.
- Leverage state-of-the-art CAD/CAE/FEM and PDM tools.
- Work via a hybrid model at the Wilrijk site.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electromechanical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Background or experience in electromagnetic design.
- Proficiency with electromagnetic analysis software (such as Ansys Maxwell, MotorCAD, or Magnet) and mathematical computation packages (preferably MATLAB).
- Familiarity with 3D CAD systems (such as CATIA or Inventor) and MS Office 365 tools.
- Industrially oriented team player with a creative, curious, and hands-on approach to technical problem-solving.
- Preparedness to take ownership and lead small projects or project-related tasks.
- Fluent communication skills in English.
- Willingness to learn Dutch in practice if it is not your native language.

- Experience in the electric motor manufacturing industry is considered a strong asset.
