HID Global is seeking a Program Manager for its Biometric Identity Technologies (BIO) business area in Taipei, Taiwan. Responsibilities
- Define technical program scope, goals, and deliverables aligned with organizational objectives.
- Develop detailed program plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the program team.
- Provide guidance and support to project/program teams for effective execution.
- Act as the primary point of contact for program communications with leadership, clients, and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Prepare and present program status reports, including progress, risks, and issues.
- Oversee the execution of all projects within the program.
- Coordinate cross-project activities, resolving conflicts and managing dependencies.
- Monitor and manage program risks, issues, and changes.
- Work with software engineers, hardware teams, product managers, design, QA, operations, and leadership.
- Align teams with priorities and dependencies.
- Identify blockers before they become critical issues.
- Manage inter-team dependencies and external constraints.
- Develop and manage the program budget, tracking expenditures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science-based honours degree in Electronics/Software/Mechanics Engineering/Information Technology, or a related field.
- PMP, PgMP, or other relevant certifications.
- 4+ years of experience leading complex hardware and product design programs.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver market-ready products.
- Proven track record of managing large, complex programs with successful outcomes.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
- Must be currently and legally authorized to reside and work in Taiwan.
- HID Global will not offer immigration sponsorship or assume sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.
- International relocation or remote work arrangements outside of Taiwan will not be considered.
