The Production Technician supports production and warehouse operations by performing renovation tasks on heavy-duty components and cross-training in all production areas. This role requires a high school diploma, 1-2 years of remanufacturing/manufacturing experience, and the ability to follow procedures, perform tests, and maintain documentation while adhering to safety guidelines. Responsibilities

  • Support production and warehouse operations by performing renovation tasks on production projects of heavy-duty components.
  • Perform cross-functional tasks to support production operations as required.
  • Perform tasks to support production requirements on various projects.
  • Follow procedures and utilize required tools defined by process documentation.
  • Perform and review tests to ensure products meet requirements of pre-set parameters.
  • Maintain and report required documentation.
  • Follow appropriate procedures in handling products and using equipment to ensure safety and health.
  • Crosstrain to function in all Production areas.
  • Follow training plans and activities as assigned and directed.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized work area.
  • Support all other DEX activities as needed.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of remanufacturing/manufacturing experience.
  • Technical knowledge and skills.
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Ability to provide quality workmanship.
  • Ability to operate under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to learn on the job and pass required company training.
  • Maintains basic understanding and knowledge of mechanical principles and service.
  • Required to stand, walk, and use hands and tools to perform required tasks.
  • Ability to stand for 6-9 hours.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Capability of hand-eye coordination of assembling components.
