ABB is seeking a Production Tech for the 1st shift in Pinetops, North Carolina. This full-time, on-site role involves supporting the maintenance team, responding to emergencies, reporting machinery issues, and calibrating equipment to ensure production specifications are met.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct activities according to maintenance guidelines and procedures.
  • Increase the overall efficiency of equipment and the production line.
  • Respond to emergencies and breakdowns.
  • Report recurring problems with machinery and equipment.
  • Identify and address parts for record-keeping.
  • Calibrate and adjust equipment, machinery, and instruments to comply with production specifications.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting skills.
  • Planned Maintenance & Backlog experience.
  • Troubleshooting and light maintenance abilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US.
  • Knowledge and use of tools (tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools).
  • Ability to safely use a ladder.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40lbs.

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with personal protective equipment (PPE).
