Responsibilities
- Determine short- and long-term objectives for the Autonomous Manufacturing Center (AMC).
- Be responsible for AMC productivity and general condition of the Gemba (5S compliance).
- Ensure appropriate equipment maintenance and timely preventive maintenance.
- Achieve policy deployment targets and all OPI targets continuously.
- Identify and eliminate MUDA (waste).
- Ensure standardized methods of working/planning are implemented.
- Lead APS implementation and workshop activities.
- Lead continuous improvement activities.
- Be responsible for safety and the work environment.
- Maintain order and ensure discipline to rules, systems, and routines.
- Lead and develop all Manufacturing cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Responsibility for AMC productivity.
- Responsibility for general condition of the Gemba (5S compliance).
- Responsibility for management response to employee suggestions.
- Ensure equipment is maintained appropriately, and preventive maintenance is carried out on time.
- Continuous follow-up to ensure policy deployment targets are achieved.
- Satisfy all OPI targets continuously.
- Identify MUDA and eliminate.
- Ensure standardized methods of working/planning are implemented.
- Lead APS implementation, facilitate APS workshop activity in the AMC.
- Lead continuous improvement activity.
- Responsible for safety and the work environment.
- Maintain order and ensure discipline to rules, systems and routines.
- Lead and develop all Manufacturing cross-functional.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in production management within the automotive industry is likely preferred given the company's focus.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, MUDA elimination, APS implementation) is essential.
