Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the assigned flow team and assembly/welding department shift leaders.
- Establish and evaluate performance goals aligned with AC area objectives.
- Deploy employees based on their qualifications to leverage strengths and encourage growth.
- Continuously monitor work results, implement corrective measures for efficiency and quality.
- Drive ongoing improvements, focusing on personnel development and Lean principles.
- Lead and optimize work planning and material flows for the Production Department.
- Collaborate with operational planning, including interfaces such as Project Management and New Product Introduction.
- Ensure product delivery meets quality standards within specified time and cost constraints.
- Lead work and project groups, including change meetings and special project discussions.
- Plan and monitor the budget, coverage, and costs, initiating necessary corrections or optimizations.
- Conduct capacity and space planning for manufacturing and assembly cost centers.
- Sequence orders for optimal resource utilization and perform value stream analyses.
- Monitor and support the resolution of quality problems and the implementation of improvements.
- Oversee costs and deadlines related to requested production aids and special equipment.
Requirements
- 8+ years’ experience in manufacturing operations preferred.
- 3+ years‘ managerial experience preferred.
- Experience in managing and motivating teams and in leading safety, quality, and other improvement projects.
- Demonstrated skill and achievement in implementing lean practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated skill and achievement in successfully delivering quality products on-time.
- Solid experience with computerized ERP programs (Encompix preferred).
- Ability to work effectively with multiple groups to drive goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
