Emerson is looking for a Product Manager to join their Global Services Portfolio team in Austin, TX. This hybrid role involves ownership of post-sales service offerings, from specification to deployment, to support customer outcomes. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience, strong communication skills, and a background in T&M or relevant high-tech industries.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular services business updates for key stakeholders and leadership.
- Research user experience, market trends, and general functionality to define service specifications.
- Identify and filter unmet or underserved services capabilities needs based on business feasibility, scale, and ROI.
- Create marketable service features and deliver design-ready specifications focused on customer outcomes, minimizing costs and improving profitability.
- Design services capabilities in collaboration with Services Design Engineers.
- Incubate and validate services designs in collaboration with Services Validation Engineers, including limited customer deployments.
- Maintain the post-sales services roadmap, ensuring coverage across business units and service lifecycle phases.
- Support services BU Offering Management in marketing and sales strategies, including pricing, sales enablement, and customer training.
- Ensure service readiness and provide engineering support for new service implementations.
- Manage continuous improvement of released services, including performance monitoring and change orders.
- Support the decision-making process and execution of retiring applicable services.
Requirements
- 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in the T&M or Control and Automation or relevant high-tech industry
- Demonstrated success in driving cross-functional alignment and execution
- Excellent executive-level communication and presentation skills
- English Language Proficiency with effective oral and written communication skills
- Legal Authorization to work in the US - visa sponsorship will not be provided
