Responsibilities
- Design, specification, and cost calculation for quotations and projects.
- Define equipment functionality to satisfy customer demand.
- Calculate and develop optimal sizing for mechanical equipment, piping, and pumps.
- Lead and communicate with colleagues and conduct technical discussions with customers/suppliers.
- Develop process in a P&ID and manage process design with the project team.
- Write specifications for components and assess their progress and quality at suppliers.
- Advise and support the commercial team with quotations.
- Provide technical presentations on process design to Market Companies or customers.
- Commission installations in cooperation with an Automation Engineer and site team.
- Troubleshoot in the field during production.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial environment.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of fluid and thermodynamics.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven and detail-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within the Dairy, food or process industry is considered a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of Dutch is an advantage.
