Responsibilities
- Hire, coach, and grow a world-class team of software engineers.
- Support customers and live site operation with a team of DevOps engineers.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership: architecture, design, code reviews, development, security, quality.
- Partner with product management, partners, customers, and other stakeholders to define requirements, scope projects and ship products in rapid, iterative cycles.
- Architecture and design of software systems.
- Operating Online services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
- Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
- This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience operating online services.
- 3+ years of people management experience, preferred Big Tech (Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, Apple, Google).
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 10+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
- Experience in Cybersecurity.
- Experience designing solutions on Entra ID (Azure AD) and Azure.
Benefits
- USD $142,800 - $274,800 per year (U.S. national range)
- USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year (San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area)
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
