Responsibilities

  • Define the long-term vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution for Habit Formation across Spotify's consumer experience.
  • Build the behavioral intelligence that helps identify when listeners are ready to discover new formats, features, or experiences.
  • Partner with engineering, machine learning, design, research, and data science to build experiences powered by behavioral insights and experimentation.
  • Translate advances in AI, recommendation models, and intelligent agents into intuitive consumer experiences that millions of listeners love.
  • Develop systems that encourage sustainable engagement while ensuring teams work together instead of competing for user attention.
  • Influence the evolution of Spotify's surfaces, information architecture, and product experiences to reinforce lasting listening habits.
  • Use experimentation, behavioral analysis, and user research to identify opportunities and make informed product decisions in ambiguous problem spaces.
  • Set clear product direction, make thoughtful prioritization decisions, and align senior leaders around a shared strategy.
  • Drive execution across multiple engineering teams while balancing quality, speed, user trust, and long-term business impact.
  • Establish Habit Formation as a strategic product capability that enables sustainable growth across Spotify.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience building consumer products at significant global scale.
  • Successfully built products that create sustained behavior change and long-term user engagement.
  • Deep experience with experimentation, behavioral analytics, product metrics, and quantitative decision making.
  • Partner closely with engineering, machine learning, data science, research, and design teams.
  • Experience shaping strategy across multiple products, platforms, or consumer experiences.
  • Demonstrated success aligning senior stakeholders around ambitious product visions within complex organizations.
  • Care deeply about product quality and the details that create exceptional customer experiences.
  • Balance emerging technologies with proven approaches and exercise strong judgment when making investment decisions.
  • Make thoughtful decisions in ambiguous situations and take ownership for outcomes.
  • Communicate clearly, influence effectively, and build trusted relationships across teams.
  • Experience with personalization, recommender systems, or machine learning-powered consumer products.
  • Explored behavioral science or habit formation principles and understand how they can improve product experiences.
  • Experience building AI-powered, LLM, or agentic consumer products at production scale.
  • Helped evolve product measurement beyond traditional engagement metrics toward more meaningful customer outcomes.
  • Comfortable exploring data, prototyping ideas, and using evidence to accelerate learning.
  • Passionate about audio, discovery, and creating experiences that help people build lasting relationships with content.
