Responsibilities
- Drive the development of form language and experience in Physical Design.
- Collaborate closely with Digital Design for a holistic design approach.
- Lead creative sprints and workshops with advanced expertise.
- Mentor upcoming designers and foster a culture of design critique.
- Inform processes and approaches to solve problems and lead others to solutions.
- Interpret design briefs, sketches, or concept art to develop 3D designs.
- Manage multiple projects in different stages concurrently.
- Build bridges between design and technical areas like R&D, Manufacturing, and external suppliers.
- Provide feedback on designs and make necessary revisions to refine 3D models.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and software tools in 3D design.
- Be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/EAI).
Requirements
- Degree or higher-level qualification in a relevant design or engineering field.
- Relevant experience in home appliance products or automotive industries.
- Proven track record of excellent design performance.
- Highly developed computer design skills: Alias, Rhino, CatiaV5, Illustrator, Photoshop, Keyshot and other relevant design software.
- Organized to deal with several projects at the same time.
- Developed in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge/expertise in one or more areas.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Portfolio/personal website submission is mandatory.
Desired Qualifications
- Spanish is a plus.
