Responsibilities
- Lead a high-performing team supporting top Azure customers and resolving critical technical issues in a 24x7x365 environment.
- Champion customer advocacy by representing their issues to engineering teams and driving innovative solutions.
- Foster a team culture of customer obsession, going above and beyond to delight customers.
- Build a framework for continuous engineering improvement, including daily scrums and triage meetings to understand platform gaps.
- Create standards and best practices to optimize support capabilities and drive adoption across Azure service teams.
- Develop innovative approaches to automating customer solutions and integrate with Cloud Engineering Systems.
- Foster an environment for onboarding support engineers with strong technical depth and breadth.
- Establish a readiness framework for engineers to stay updated with the latest technologies.
- Attract and build a diverse, high-performing team with necessary capabilities.
- Create an inclusive work environment and provide ongoing feedback for performance improvement.
- Promote a positive environment by modeling behavior that supports good morale.
- Drive up-leveling of the team's technical skills.
- Build and develop ACE Technical Subject Matter Expertise.
- Leverage resources to help employees develop skills and support their career interests.
- Remove barriers to agility to enable the team to shift priorities quickly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Data Analytics/Science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), or related field AND 6+ years experience in technology industry, cloud, technical support, and/or customer experience engineering OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ year(s) of customer facing experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years experience in technology industry, cloud, technical support, and/or customer experience engineering OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Data Analytics/Science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), or related field AND 12+ years experience in technology industry, cloud, technical support, and/or customer experience engineering OR equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of customer facing experience.
- 5+ years people management experience.
Benefits
- The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $142,800 - $274,800 per year.
- A different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
