Ericsson's RPCA PMO is seeking an innovative Co-op Student for a Project Intelligence Intern role in Ottawa. This position focuses on applying AI, data analytics, and software development to automate processes, build dashboards, and improve project management and business intelligence for radio product development projects.

Responsibilities

Develop AI-powered solutions to automate PMO processes and reporting.
Build dashboards, analytics, and project intelligence tools using enterprise data.
Create proof-of-concepts using Microsoft Copilot, KIRO, Generative AI, and automation technologies.
Develop scripts, applications, and integrations that improve project execution and decision making.
Support digital transformation initiatives involving JIRA, Confluence, Power BI, and KIRO.
Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, AI, or a related discipline.
Programming experience in Python, Java, C/C++, or JavaScript.
Knowledge of data analytics, software development, and machine learning fundamentals.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Passion for AI, automation, and continuous improvement.

Desired Qualifications

Experience with AI/ML projects, data analytics, or dashboard development.
Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, Power BI, Azure AI, Power Automate, JIRA, SQL, or Git.
Experience developing web applications, automation tools, or data pipelines.
Preferred work-term: 12 or 16 months / 5-days work from office.

Bachelors salary range: $25.50/hr - $34.50/hr
Masters salary range: $37/hr
