We are seeking a Pega Senior Technical Specialist with 9-14 years of experience in Pega development, holding a CSSA certification. The role involves designing and developing Pega applications, leading projects, and providing technical guidance within an Agile environment. Strong communication and a growth mindset are essential.

Responsibilities

Working with Product Owners, Scrum masters, Engineering Leads in understanding the requirements, designing the solutions and implementing them in Pega technology
Active participation in all scrum events to refine the backlog, agree on acceptance criteria, Sprint demos and Show and Tell event
Supporting code reviews and defect resolution
Coaching junior members in the team
Attending and contributing to Guilds
Supporting wider delivery consideration e.g. risk management, planning, keeping documents current
Lead and manage pega development projects from inception to completion
Design and develop pega applications according to business needs and requirements
Provide technical guidance and expertise in pega technologies to the development team
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and ensure successful delivery of pega solutions
Perform pega application testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure optimal performance
Stay updated on the latest pega trends, tools, and best practices to enhance the quality of solutions delivered
Mentor junior team members and provide technical support as needed

Requirements

9-14 yrs of experience in Pega development.
CSSA Certified(Mandatory) and CLSA or CLSA Part 1 (preferred)
Ability to design and develop microjourneys using case management
Deep knowledge on Case Management, Declarative programming, Asynchronous job processing
Experience in building REST/SOAP based integrations as a service and as a connector with knowledge on OpenAPI specification
In-depth knowledge on security aspects Authentication, Authorization, JSON Web Tokens, Certs and Public-Key Cryptography concepts
Experience on monitoring tools like PAL, PDC, DB Trace
Experience on debugging tools like Clipboard, Tracer, Live UI
Clear Communication with a high standard of English, both written and verbal, familiar with communicating with Business Stakeholders, with confidence to challenge and drive solutions forward with business counterparts, articulation of inherent risks making all stakeholders aware of the implications of solutions.
Experience of working in Agile delivery environment and experience of a full project delivery lifecycle.
Growth Mindset - keen desire to lean and develop further - adaptable when required
Strong experience in pega application design, development, and implementation
Proficiency in pega prpc (pega rules process commander) platform
Sound knowledge of pega application architecture, data modeling, and ui design
Ability to lead and manage pega development projects effectively
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with cross functional teams
Pega cssa (certified senior system architect) certification is a plus
Pega CSSA (Certified Senior System Architect) certification is preferred

Desired Qualifications

Experience of JIRA/Confluence and other tools and techniques such as DevOps.
Focus on Non-Functional requirements during design
Knowledge on UI components and Ux design patterns
Awareness of Constellation and DX APIs
