Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the Nuevo Laredo facility.
- Lead and develop a high-performing organization, fostering collaboration, learning, and inclusion.
- Coach and support site leaders in professional development and succession planning.
- Champion a culture of safety, integrity, quality, and operational excellence.
- Drive manufacturing performance to meet customer commitments, production targets, and quality objectives.
- Develop and execute operational plans to optimize capacity, scheduling, resource allocation, and efficiency.
- Partner with commercial, customer service, engineering, and global functional teams.
- Lead operational readiness for product transfers and new product introductions.
- Own the site's profit and loss performance, including annual operating plans and budgets.
- Drive productivity and cost competitiveness through effective manufacturing, purchasing, and inventory management.
- Monitor operational and financial metrics and implement actions for growth and margin improvement.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with quality management systems, regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and safety programs.
- Drive improvements in quality, inventory accuracy, and supply chain effectiveness.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, customers, community stakeholders, and global partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, technical knowledge, and relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex manufacturing or operations environments with responsibility for multiple business functions.
- Experience managing operational and financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and profitability initiatives.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, supply chain operations, materials management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience leading and developing diverse teams in a multi-level manufacturing organization.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate strategic objectives into sustainable operational results.
- Ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders across functions, regions, and organizational levels.
- Knowledge of safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory compliance requirements within a manufacturing environment.
- Effective communication, change management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel as required to support business and operational objectives.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience leading a manufacturing facility with full site accountability, including profit and loss ownership.
- Experience within industrial manufacturing, automation, engineered products, capital equipment, or related industries.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, operational excellence programs, and continuous improvement frameworks.
- Experience supporting global manufacturing operations, product transfers, or multi-site operations.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems and customer-focused quality improvement programs.
- Experience leading large-scale organizational development, workforce planning, and succession management initiatives.
- Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Advanced degree in business, engineering, operations management, or a related field.
