Responsibilities

  • Serve as a first point of contact for routine employee questions.
  • Coordinate new-hire activities, including documentation, system access, and orientation.
  • Coordinate offboarding processes, including documentation and system updates.
  • Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential personnel records.
  • Maintain accurate employee data in the HRIS.
  • Support benefit enrollment, life events, and open enrollment.
  • Review HRIS, benefit, and payroll data for accuracy.
  • Coordinate job postings, applications, interviews, and offer documentation.
  • Maintain professional candidate communication and partner with hiring managers.
  • Support engagement, recognition, well-being, and retention activities.
  • Maintain required employment records and track compliance deadlines.
  • Audit employee data, benefit eligibility, and personnel records.
  • Maintain and improve HR policies, procedures, and resources.
  • Occasionally support office and cross-functional needs.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Entry-level candidates with strong potential or two to four years of hands-on HR, payroll, benefits, or related experience.
  • Exposure to HR operations, HRIS, benefits, onboarding, offboarding, and recruitment.
  • Basic payroll exposure is preferred.
  • Knowledge of employee records, benefits support, data accuracy, employment law fundamentals, and confidentiality.
  • Experience or aptitude with HRIS and payroll platforms; ADP Workforce Now is helpful.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Employee-focused, approachable, and able to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Organized and able to balance multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
  • Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a genuine desire to learn and grow in Human Resources.
  • Collaborative and adaptable, with strong ownership, follow-through, and willingness to pitch in as a team player.
