Responsibilities
- Design, simulate, and develop advanced algorithms for GNSS Positioning to achieve decimeter and centimeter level accuracies.
- Responsible for algorithm development, performance predictions, and implementation optimizations.
- Oversee software implementation and commercialization of algorithms into Qualcomm products.
- Research, design, develop, simulate, and/or validate systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions.
- Collaborate across functional teams to meet and exceed system-level requirements and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
- OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
- OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Strong understanding of 4G/5G/6G modem systems and wireless communication fundamentals.
- Experience in system design, performance analysis, feature development, and debugging.
- Experience with data analysis, log analysis, MATLAB/Python, and system-level simulations.
- Strong understanding of GNSS fundamentals, positioning algorithms, signal processing, and receiver design.
- Experience in GNSS performance evaluation, location technologies, and system-level analysis.
- Experience with MATLAB/Python and large-scale data analysis.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with PHY/MAC/RRC procedures, mobility, positioning, and wireless protocol stacks is desirable.
- Familiarity with multi-sensor positioning, L1/L5 processing, and wireless positioning technologies is desirable.
- PhD, or Master with relevant experience from department of electronics and communication or Aero Space Engineering.
