Responsibilities
- Conduct product verification and validation testing, including the preparation of detailed engineering reports.
- Design and develop engineering drawings for fire suppression systems and associated components.
- Support new product development activities from concept through to implementation.
- Participate in product testing programs, including live fire testing where required.
- Investigate product non-conformances and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Maintain engineering documentation and product information within Teamcenter.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and cross-functional teams to support product improvements and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement projects across the Fire Suppression business.
Requirements
- Degree qualifications in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1 to 3 years of experience within a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment.
- Experience using NX or similar 3D CAD software.
- Practical knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, fabrication or sheet metal.
- Basic understanding of electrical and electronic systems, or a willingness to develop capability in this area.
- Strong technical communication skills, with the ability to clearly document and explain engineering concepts.
- A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to contribute effectively within a small team environment.

- Must have the right to live and work in Australia.
