Emerson Discrete Automation is seeking a Material Handler in Aiken, SC. This full-time, on-site role involves warehouse operations such as picking, part transfers, shipping, inventory counts, and maintaining a clean work area. Experience with AS400/Ultriva systems and pallet jacks is required, and forklift certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Operate AS400/Ultriva systems for part location, quantity, and label printing.
- Create pick, pack, and ship documents for domestic and international shipments.
- Analyze pick sheets to locate parts, determine containers, and affix labels.
- Perform KANBAN and supermarket transfers and handle phone orders from assembly lines.
- Return unused materials to appropriate locations.
- Assist with all cycle count activities.
- Ensure daily housekeeping in assigned stockroom areas.
- Maintain organized work areas with clear labeling.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to use pallet jacks, scales, and initiate AGV operation.
- Understanding of FIFO principles.
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
- Must be a team player.
- Ability to perform work assignments with minimal supervision.
