ABB seeks a Manufacturing/Quality Tester in Beijing, China to ensure product quality and compliance with standards. Responsibilities include performing tests, inspections, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining records. This is an on-site, full-time role reporting to the Quality & CI Manager.
Responsibilities
- Conduct testing and inspections during the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Execute assigned work according to agreed workflows and ABB standard processes and safety guidelines, reporting any non-compliance.
- Perform tests or checks by following procedures and instructions defined in manuals and test scripts.
- Perform physical pre-testing activities for newly developed products to ensure product quality and validating manufacturing processes.
- Assist the team in performing all required checks as part of the Factory Acceptance Testing process.
- Inspect and troubleshoot any identified issues, determining root causes, and implementing corrective actions in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate testing records, data, and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality management systems.
Requirements

- Ability to demonstrate your experience in / Have established skills / advanced skills / You have X years of experience in relevant field
- Possess an enhanced knowledge of / You are qualified in / Highly adept in specialized software/platforms
- Passionate about / you are captivated by / you are innovative around relevant soft skills and relevant soft skills
- Degree in / Have a demonstrated track record in / Extensive knowledge of / Proven experience of specific degree, qualification in subject
- At ease communicating in required language skill(s)
- Hold current required licenses valid in job location and country-specific VISA/work permit where required
