Alfa Laval seeks a Manufacturing Operations Engineer in Pune to be a Key User for D365 in Manufacturing and Planning. This role involves driving D365 implementation, data cleansing, supporting local users, and ensuring processes align with global standards and legal requirements. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5+ years of manufacturing experience are required, with D365 or ERP exposure being a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver insights on existing processes in Planning/Master Planning functions.
  • Become the factory's expert in D365 for the Manufacturing function.
  • Ensure local processes fit global processes.
  • Be hands-on in the site roll-out of D365.
  • Define and test business scenarios in their track(s).
  • Support and train local users in D365.
  • Drive local data cleansing in the legacy system (Movex).
  • Extract data in scope from the legacy system.
  • Coordinate track activities across sites after Go Live.
  • Govern and implement new processes after deployment.
  • Act as a super-user/point of contact for processes after site go-live.
  • Serve as an interface group to the Local Steering Committee.
  • Own business/delivery process scenarios for the track and be responsible for business scenario scope.
  • Be responsible for testing that the solution is acceptable.
  • Support end-users in change management.
  • Be responsible for the process/function benefit realization post roll-out.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Quality, Planning functions, Budgeting, processes, methodologies, and tools.
  • Digitally proficient; comfortable working with IT systems and tools.
  • Confident communicator able to train local staff effectively.
  • Strong Stakeholder Management & Project Coordination skills.
  • Knowledge of ALPS.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Deep understanding of business processes and best practices in the specific functional area.
  • Ability to train and guide others and bridge gaps between D365 experts and end-users.
  • Advocate for D365 within their teams and influence colleagues positively.
  • Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and propose solutions.
  • Be proficient in using D365; become the first support level and be IT proficient.
  • Desire for continuous improvement of the solution locally.
  • Attention to detail for configuring system settings, defining security roles, and testing functionality.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience and understanding of how to drive and manage organizational change related to IT transformation.

Desired Qualifications

  • Awareness or exposure to D 365 or any other ERP implementation will be preferred.
  • Exposure to small/medium/large scale program implementation is preferred.
  • Experience with Pymetrics assessments is part of the recruitment process.
