- Set the technical vision and multi-year roadmap for multiple Speed Tech product and platform domains.
- Make forward-looking architectural decisions for large-scale, high-availability systems.
- Drive generative AI and agentic system adoption within teams.
- Partner with Science and Product teams to build intelligent, scalable experiences.
- Lead and grow high-performing engineering teams, focusing on recruitment, coaching, and culture.
- Deliver the best in-class delivery experience for customers.
- Build software to support high growth in Amazon's delivery business.
- Own and operate mission-critical, low-latency services.
- Drive operational health, incident reduction, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 7+ years of engineering experience.
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services.
- Knowledge of engineering practices for the full software/hardware/networks development lifecycle.
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
- Experience designing or architecting new and existing systems (design patterns, reliability, scaling).

- Experience communicating with users, technical teams, and senior leadership.
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching, and managing Software Engineers.
