Emerson seeks a creative and motivated Manager for its Education Services team in North America. This role involves leading the development and growth of the Power & Water Solutions (PWS) Educational Services business, focusing on delivering high-quality training programs, managing financial metrics, and driving continuous improvement in educational content and delivery methods. Responsibilities

  • Provide management oversight, direction, and strategy for the North American Educational Services team.
  • Establish objectives and maintain standards for quality delivery of training modules while driving customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other PWS world areas and Systems and Software businesses to harmonize educational content delivery.
  • Manage the Educational Services profit and loss (P&L) center to meet organizational financial metrics.
  • Drive and develop the team to deliver world-class educational programs using next-generation training methods (in-person, virtual, hybrid).
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement programs, quality, and internal training initiatives.
  • Work directly with customers to develop and customize their educational plans and programs.
  • Participate in the marketing and selling of Educational Services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 6 years of proven experience in field service, sales, application engineering, or first-level management.
  • Strong people skills and ability to successfully resolve customer issues.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% domestically.
  • Strong communication skills and leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to motivate people in a technically challenging environment.
  • Demonstrated planning, communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, related technical subject area, or industry experience.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in engineering, field service, product development, marketing, educational services, customer support, or a related field.
